Merry Christmas!
Dec. 26th, 2024 01:31 amWelp, it's the end of the night on Christmas day. We did the uzh' at Aunt Marie's house last night, and it ended up being a decent time. We brought some KFC cuz we're never sure if there's gonna be chicken to eat there, with the whole Feast of Seven Fishes thing, and cuz we want to just fully embrace the weeb persona lol.
The whole night moved insanely fast though. We got there a little late cuz of Church. (Church was cool cuz they did we got to sing Silent Night by candlelight!)
I feel like even though we were there for like 4-5 hours, it flew by cuz everyone was just doing stuff, then moving on to the next thing at a breakneck pace. Food's out? Food's gone. Dessert is out 30 min later? Outta here. Loopin' Louie, go go go. Done, get the sausage out. Oh, speaking of Loopin' Louie, I won last year and wanted to go out on top, so I wasn't planning on playing this Christmas. They roped me into it, and I begrudgingly played, and actually ended up winning the tournament back-to-back. That's my third time. It felt good, since last year people weren't even really into it. I announced to everyone I'm officially retiring now. I told Nick I'll take back the overview job of all the records and stuff, and become the chairperson.
We exchanged gifts with Alibob and the babbies, and got home at like 1:00AM. I like parties, but we never actually get to talk to people at them anymore cuz they're usually so hectic. I never get to collect with any of our cousins anymore cuz we never get to actually just chill and talk about life. Like, we got to sit and chat with Nick's girlfriend Victoria for a while and it was awesome. She's cool! I'm glad they're happy together. We got to talk about house stuff with her, which was fun!
Today was pretty chill. Skunk got me some awwwesome gym tanks ("Hallowed By The Gains" with a buff Jesus, and also Teddy Swole-sevelt lol), plus an Optimus Prime wallet, an aquarium gift card, a tamagoyaki pan, and some really cute earmuffs! They were all really thoughtful gifts cuz I need new gym clothes, my old Mario wallet is like 10 years old and falling apart, and I've been talking about getting earmuffs for years now cuz I have a no hat policy even in Winter.
At parents houses, I got some sweet Transformers + Dragon Ball socks, a JoJo shirt, coffee, and a few Transformers. I felt bad cuz we accidentally left one of my mother's gifts at home. We'll get it to her tomorrow or something.
Also I made homemade eggnog for the first time ever, and dude it was goooood. Thank God I took off tomorrow, cuz I need to catch up on sleep. Also got therapy as well which I'm looking forward to.
